Adam Koven

Born and raised here in Kingston, Ontario, and with almost five generations in the cemetery, he is still moving and breathing nicely. Following high school at L.C.V.I. Adam had a brief stint at Queen’s Commerce, only to decide to enter the family business in 1992 where he ran Lake Ontario Ice alongside his father, Phil Koven. Later on, he took over the CEO-ship of Rosen Fuels, acquiring various other oil companies, developing what is now known as the Rosen Energy Group. This was not nearly as exciting as the fast paced, glamorous world of real estate, so he decided to join the winning, good looking bunch at Royal LePage. In his spare time, which is almost none as he has 3 lovely and lively children; Ainsley, Jessica and Jonathan, who keep him smiling ( most of the time ), his hobbies are very narrow in focus, which encompass; singing in the clubs around Kingston, em-ceeing various black-tie events and competing in Ironman competitions, for the sole purpose of affording him the luxury of enjoying wine and whisky. Adam is currently a Rotarian, President of B’nai Brith Kingston, Chair of Theatre Kingston and was finance chair of Kedco. He also enjoys various charity and committee work with the Boys and Girls Club, Queen’s School of Medicine, United Way, Easter Seals and the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.
